Meet our newest arrival in the Pollinator Parks Garden — a beautiful willow swift sculpture crafted by the talented Sylvan Skills – Ruth Thompson. This stunning piece celebrates the incredible pollinators that help our gardens thrive, and we’re marking its arrival with a special family event on 25th May, 11am–2pm.
Little ones can enjoy a hands‑on workshop with Ruth, creating their very own willow‑crafted friend to take home. There’ll also be storytelling, a balloon modeller, and plenty of creative fun throughout the day.
Children are also invited to take part in our Name the Swift Competition by submitting a drawing of the sculpture along with their chosen name.
A joyful celebration of nature, creativity, and community — we can’t wait to welcome you.
