Park Mark®
Park Mark car parks look safer, they feel safer, they are safer!
The car park at Dalton Park has been registered with The Safer Parking Scheme since opening in 2003. It is a national standard for UK car parks that have low crime and measures in place to ensure the safety of people and vehicles.
Every year specially trained police assessors visit our car park and carry out a rigorous assessment looking at our management practises and security measures. We have successfully retained the Park Mark® every year.
Pod Point EV Charging
Introduction of Charges for Electric Vehicle Charging
At Dalton Park we’re committed to supporting greener options to travel to the outlet. To ensure that we can continue to provide reliable, well-maintained and efficient electric vehicle charging points for visitors to Dalton Park, we will be introducing a small fee for charging from 12 August 2025. This charge will help to cover the rising costs of electricity, ensure the facilities are maintained to the highest standard and will also support future investment to improve and expand our EV charging infrastructure. Thank you for your understanding.
There are 6 electric charging points in the car park at Dalton Park, provided by the Pod Point network. There are 4 situated in front and behind The Dancing Betty and another 2 near the entrance to Morrisons.
You can start charging instantly with no need for cards or key fobs, simply plug in and confirm with the Pod Point app.
The dual charge points are compatible with all plug in vehicle models. They are single phase AC and Type 2 sockets.
The names of the charge points are:
Kirk-Andy (A&B)
Toby-Kirk (A&B)
Lary-Gabe (A&B)
