Dalton Park Outlet has a brand-new look. Thanks to the Street Art Academy, our walls are alive with colour, creativity and community spirit.
Hosted during the school holidays in July and August, local children worked alongside professional artist Lewis Hobson, also known as Durham Spray Paints, to explore street art techniques and bring their ideas to life. Their designs have been digitally transformed into permanent murals that now brighten the park, showcasing the imagination and talent of our younger generation.
The murals take their inspiration from the beautiful 55 acres of parkland that surrounds Dalton Park. From curious creatures to leafy patterns, the artwork brings a touch of the great outdoors into the centre and celebrates the unique environment that makes Dalton Park so special.
