For shoppers who prefer a quieter shopping setting at Dalton Park. During our quiet hours, brands will turn down their music, dim bright lights where possible and we will suspend announcements on the mall.
Tuesday: 10am – 12pm
Saturday: 9.30am – 10.30am
Explore the Centre Before You Visit
Use this virtual model to plan your route and get to know our facilities in advance. It’s a great tool for familiarisation—especially helpful if you’re neurodivergent or feel anxious about visiting new places. Take a look around and arrive feeling more confident and relaxed.
Join us for a calmer shopping experience every Tuesday (10:00am – 12:00pm) and Saturday (9:30am – 10:30am).
During these times, mall music and in-store announcements will be turned off to create a more relaxed, autism-friendly environment. Our team will be on hand to offer support if needed.
We’re committed to making shopping accessible for everyone. As part of this, we proudly support the Sunflower Lanyard scheme, helping our brands recognise visitors with hidden disabilities and provide the assistance they need.
Guests can pick up a free Sunflower Lanyard from Guest Services.
In partnership with the North East Autism Society, we offer sensory bags to help create a more comfortable shopping experience. These are available to hire from Guest Services with a £20 refundable cash deposit, returned upon bag return.

We are a dog friendly shopping destination. Along with assistance dogs, our four legged friends are now welcome in the mall areas and selected stores.
We offer wheelchair and scooter hire at Guest Services, located next to Levi’s and Cadbury. A £20 deposit is required for scooters and £10 for wheelchairs, along with a form of ID.
Weight Limits:
Mobility scooters – Up to 136kg (21 stone)
Wheelchairs – Up to 100kg (15 stone)

We offer 79 disabled parking spaces, 6 electric charging points and 7 coach parking spaces in our dedicated coach car park at Dalton Park.
A Changing Places facility is available at Morrisons, Dalton Park, providing extra space and specialist equipment for those who need it.
