Big Butterfly Count Wellbeing Walk

Join Climate Action North for a nature‑focused wellbeing walk across the tranquil parkland at Dalton Park. As part of the nationwide Big Butterfly Count, you’ll help record butterfly and moth sightings, contributing valuable data that helps monitor environmental health across the UK.

Saturday 26th July at 11am.

Location:

The meeting point for this wellbeing walk will be outside the Pollinator Parks garden (next to M&S).

What to Expect

  • A peaceful, wellbeing‑focused walk suitable for all ages and abilities

  • Butterfly and bee spotting along wildflower‑filled meadow areas

  • Guided tips on how to identify species and record counts

  • A gentle introduction to citizen science and conservation action

Note: Everyone is responsible for their own safety whilst on site. Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and take care when walking around the parkland.
