The Dancing Betty is a modern, family-friendly pub named in honour of Dalton Park’s mining heritage. A ‘Dancing Betty’ is a gadget that miners used down the pits to get the tension just right on their haulage ropes.

Cheerful staff, a warm atmosphere, and proper pub food and drink make us the perfect place to meet friends or enjoy some family time. If the sun’s out, eat and drink on the patio. The kids will be super happy when they see the children’s play areas.
Our menu is served each day from lunchtime onwards and features all the big pub favourites along with a few mouth-watering surprises. Carvery lovers are in for a treat: we do a cracking roast every day.
