Pumpkin Trail in support of The Sick Children's Trust
Sunday 29th October 12pm - 4pm
Dalton Park and The Sick Children’s Trust are hosting a fun-filled Pumpkin Trail, 12pm – 4pm on Sunday 29th October at the Dalton Park parkland area. Dress up in your most frightening Halloween costume (and of course your walking boots!) and help us support a great cause.
The Sick Children’s Trust provides free ‘Home from Home’ accommodation for families with seriously ill children in hospital. Their ‘Homes from Home’ at the Royal Victoria Infirmary and the Freeman Hospital help around 1200 families from the North East every year. For more information on this wonderful charity please visit their website. (registered charity 284416).
The Pumpkin Trail will take place in the 55 acres of Parkland beside Dalton Park. The route is pushchair friendly and will take approx 30 – 40 minutes. There will be treats for each completed stage of the trail and every child will receive a medal at the end. Our mascot “Dalton” will also be there with lots of “high fives” for everyone who takes part.
This is a fundraising event so we do ask that a minimum of £8 per child is raised. All of the sponsorship raised will be donated to The Sick Children’s Trust and must be brought along on the day.
Please complete the form below to register for this event, an information pack and sponsorship form will be emailed to you.
