Join us on 28th March at Dalton Park as we celebrate the official reopening of the Pollinator Parks wild space “Gateway to the Wild” garden (next to M&S) and welcome the Springtime with our Spring wellbeing walk in partnership with Climate Action North.
Our spring guided mindfulness walk is designed to help you unwind, connect with others, focus on your mental and physical wellness, whilst spotting wildlife. Whether you’re seeking a peaceful stroll or a chance to socialise with like-minded individuals, taking a walk in our 55 acres of parkland promises to uplift your spirits.
Everything you need to know:
11am: Climate Action North will start the morning by hosting the re-opening of the gateway at the Pollinator Parks Garden (next to M&S).
11.30pm: We will begin the Wellbeing Walk in our parklands. On this walk, Climate Action North’s Mindfulness Associate Valerie will lead a walk around the Park to look for signs of Spring whilst also practicing guided mindfulness. The event will aim to end around 1pm.
Note: This is a first come first booked walk to manage numbers but if you are not able to attend this date there will be more walks to follow.
This is a free event, open to all. Everyone is responsible for their own safety whilst on site. Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and take care when walking around the parkland.
