BeachFest – Summer of fun!

Go wild for a free beach bonanza to celebrate British summertime by the sea. Inspired by our beautiful Durham coast, our sandy beach and play area will be open daily next to Customer Services near Next Outlet.
Join us for BeachFest live acoustic music, giveaways, enjoy a bite to eat at one of our delicious food stalls, or visit our Sealife Storytime sessions this summer.
Key Dates
Sealife Storytime & Beach Clean: Saturday 26th & Sunday 27th August 2023 from 11am to 3pm.
Help our Sealife friends clean the Dalton Park beach and enjoy wild Storytime adventures for ages 0-12 years old.
Little ones can have fun in the sand and also learn about the environment by picking up litter and helping the environment by recycling them into our colourful bin on the beach, as well as stepping into the lives of Duffy the Turtle and Dale the Whale with our Storytime sessions starting from 11am to 3pm!
Why not round off the day in true seaside style with a visit to Codrophenia for some freshly made fish and chips or one of our tasty cafes including Etto and more? Find out more here.
