Our top 5 tips to bag the best offers during Christmas sales
We know how difficult it can be to navigate the sea of Boxing Day and January Sale offers. We also know that what we spend and how we spend is becoming even more important with the pressures of the cost-of-living crisis.
Outlets such as Dalton Park are different to traditional shopping centres. We offer visitors the chance to shop designer brands and benefit from extra savings during sales periods on top of already low outlet prices.
To help you out, we’ve put together our top tips on making sure you get the best value at Dalton Park.
- Join WhatsApp groups
Many of our brands have WhatsApp for Business pages, where they offer subscribers additional discounts and messages when new products and offers drop.
Insider tip: New Balance at Dalton Park has a QR code at their till for their WhatsApp for Business page. Scan this on your next visit to join their WhatsApp group for the very best discounts. - Check the Dalton Park offers page
Our Dalton Park offers page is refreshed daily to bring you offers from over 60 brands. If you’re working to a tight budget, or want to avoid overspending, take some time to browse the offers page ahead of your visit. This should curb the need for impulse purchases and make sure you leave with a brilliant bargain!
Insider tip: Visit the offers page at 6pm to plan ahead for the next day. We tend to see offers come in more frequently during peak times including January sales. - Sign up to a mailing list
This one is quite standard, but if you sign up to mailing lists for brands they will send you their new products, offers and opening times.
Insider tip: Make sure your post code is aligned to your account. This usually helps a brand’s head office send you offers and details applicable to your closest store. - Make a beeline for the ‘Clearance’ section
Whether it’s a bikini in winter, or a puffer jacket in summer, you’re likely to bag the best bargains out of season and in the clearance section. A guest recently purchased a limited-edition Levi’s collectors’ piece for £45 in the winter sale, the RRP was over £450!
Insider tip: The clearance sections are usually located at the back of a store. Head there first, then work your way around the rest of the store. - Shop at quieter times
Not only do you have a better shopping ambience during quieter times, but you can also expect improved customer service and the opportunity to build a rapport with members of the store teams.
Insider tip: Shopping after 4pm is generally the quietest time to visit Dalton Park. If you’re a regular visitor get to know the store teams to see what days their deliveries are – some stores will personally email guests to give them priority access to sales and promotions.
Happy shopping from Team Dalton Park.
