Our penultimate promise is one that has been four years in the making.
Many of our retailers, including M&S, Starbucks and Dancing Betty have been raising money for the Durham branch of the RNLI.
The generosity of their collective customers has seen a massive £42,250 donated since 2015, keeping our shores safe 24 hours a day, 365 days a year!
Jerry Hatch, Dalton Park’s Centre Manager, is delighted with the amount of money raised. He said: “The RNLI is a vital service that relies on the kindness of supporters to meet the cost of saving lives at sea.
“We are very proud to be part of such a generous and caring community and look forward to helping them raise even more funds in the years to come.”
