Promise Nine

Dalton Park is supporting the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal as part of our 15-pledge promise to the local community.
To mark the centenary of the First World War, we have decorated our garden swing seat with poppies and we welcome fundraising volunteers on the mall in the lead up to Remembrance Sunday.
At Dalton Park we are very proud to be supporting the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal again this year and we are hoping that shoppers will help us raise more funds than ever to mark the centenary.
Volunteers will be at the centre selling commemorative poppies up until Sunday 11^th November next to our decorated garden swing – a nice place for shoppers to pause and take a moment to remember.
Funds raised provide vital support to those currently serving in the Armed Forces, veterans and their families. Last year, donations from Dalton Park’s staff and visitors raised £4,677.11 for the worthy cause.
We will also hold a two minutes silence at 11am for staff and visitors on Remembrance Sunday.
